Benefiting: Greenways for Nashville

As a sustainable furniture dealership and workspace planning firm in a creatively renovated building, Alfred Williams & Co. is proud present the 2nd quarterly group art exhibition titled "Sustainability: A Part of Design".

This exhibition of esteemed local artists will explore the importance of environmental awareness through various media including photography, video, sculpture, paintings, and of course, classic Herman Miller furniture. 10% of all event proceeds will benefit the Greenways of Nashville.

An opening cocktail reception will be held on Thursday, September 1st from 5-8pm with a sponsored after party at our neighboring restaurant, Flyte, a proud sustainable restaurant.

The reception and the Alfred Williams showroom/ exhibition is free and open to the public Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Whether the materials in the exhibition are recycled or the subject matter somehow examines our relationship with nature and design, the idea is that our planet is an abounding yet fragile ecosystem that will allow us to use it's resources as long as we protect them.

The mission of Alfred William's group exhibitions is to reveal the importance of art as a necessary compliment to design and to exercise art's invaluable synergistic effect on community, businesses, and charitable organizations.
