Artists In Nashville

As like everyone else on this site, I am an artist.  A painter actually, whose medium of choice is oil.  I prefer painting in realism and especially like painting representational figurative - is there such a category??  What I like painting, I've heard labeled many different ways.  The bottom line is that I like painting people doing what they do... "a slice of life" sort of thing.  I was born and raised in Hawaii and lived in California for many years before moving to Tennessee (Nashville area) in 2001.  Why Tennessee?...you may ask.  The music brought my son and his family here.  After years of "bugging" me to move out here, he (my son) finally convinced me to make the move.  Anyway, many of my art represent my cultural background.
